Marlon McMartin, MBA - Founder, Managing Director (Canadian nationality)

Marlon is the Managing Director of Mai Thai Enterprises Co., Ltd. and Founder of OfficeAbility, an idea that started in mid-2008 when he began turning his knowledge of social media and web-based development to the design of a social enterprise Intranet. In the 2 1/2 years that followed, OfficeAbility development remained a priority as the company gained a reputation as the premier development studio in Northern Thailand. OfficeAbility is now the main focus as Marlon and his team continue to develop best-in-class social enterprise tools and collaboration applications.

Marlon comes from a very diverse project management background and has always had a penchant for travel and new experiences. He enjoys outdoor pursuits, golf, 8-ball, music, and pulp fiction.

Mika Horttanainen, MBA, MScBA - Chief Operating Officer (Finnish nationality)

Prior to joining OfficeAbility, Mika has held several managerial positions within the IT-industry including: CEO/founder of R5 Vision e-learning software company; Service Director in Logica business and technology service company; Project Manager for CRM-software services; and IT-Process Consultant in TeliaSonera telecommunications company.

Being a passionate aviator Mika holds several pilots and instructor licenses for various airplanes and helicopters. Mika is into fitness in his spare time and has earned a black-belt in Aikido.

Sakon Suppapornopas (Ko), Masters in Visual Communication Art - Design Manager

Ko has a Masters in education art and design from Chiang Mai University. He is a
specialist with JavaScript, Flash, and CSS/HTML. He is a master on a number of graphic design applications and is also one of the main architects behind OfficeAbility. Aside from being technologically savvy, Ko is a veteran of print media, including magazine publication design.

An artist with the keyboard and mouse, the monitor is his canvas; Ko enjoys playing guitar and keyboard - when he is not creating visual art masterpieces.

Sujin Keotachachan (Jin), BSc, Programming - Development Manager

Seven years ago Sujin finished his first development project, a desktop application using Visual Basic. Now, he has risen to the top of his profession specializing in PHP frameworks, CodeIgniter, Jquery, and database engineering.

His proficiency has earned him the right of being a guest lecturer at universities as part of our own Developer Camp initiatives and at the Start Up Design and Network Institute, speaking on the topics of PHP, SQL, Visual Basic, and web-based application development. Sujin is responsible for managing development projects throughout their life cycle, he oversees planning & analysis, database design, and software development cycle. In his spare time he plays football and is interested in cars and photography.

Kritsanasak Kuntaros (P), BSc., Computer Science - Programming and Database Team Leader

P graduated from Chiang Mai Rajabhat University computer science program and now, as a key person in our extended education programs, is again returning to his alma mater and other universities as a PHP/SQL development camp instructor. P has been in the development trenches long enough to have earned expert status in PHP, SQL database, javascript, jQuery, CSS, and XHTML. His organizational and leadership skills make P integral to assisting in the management of our programming and development group.

Apart from being a PHP/SQL specialist, P also works with Django and Python and is interested in web security including SQL injection and penetration testing. P's other favorite hobby is photography and he spends a good amount of his free time looking for the perfect shot and discovering new directions to approach this art form.

Natthawut Panyachai (Nat), B.Eng (Computer Engineering) - Online Marketing Manager

Nat graduated from Chiang Mai University with a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering. It was his initial interest in the science behind Internet Marketing that motivated him to pursue this study. He considers SEO and SEM to be constantly evolving, and it is his passion for this “science” that keeps him on top of the trends and technology.

He began his career as a freelance Internet Marketing specialist where he earned his stripes before becoming an integral part of the OfficeAbility team. He is the driving force behind our online marketing efforts and, when not working, Nat enjoys blogging, listening to music and watching movies.

Jatupong Onlamai (Tong), B.Eng (Mechanical Engineering) – Customer Project Manager

Tong has an extensive academic background including graduate study in mechatronic engineering as well as lecturing at King Mongkut University of Technology. He was also a researcher at the Institute of Field Robotics at KMUTT.

Aside from mechanical engineering, he has always been interested in web-based development. His self-taught success allowed him to become a very well-rounded expert in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, and flash. These skills and an acute knowledge of OfficeAbility make him a top-notch Customer Project Manager. Outside of the office you are likely to find Tong on the links golfing, or he is probably exploring a new place.

Surat Jinnarat (Sue), BA, English - Customer Project Manager

Sue graduated from Chiang Mai University with a first class honours degree in English, she attributes her academic success to opportunities she had to study in Germany and the USA. Her background of working for several NGOs earned her a reputation as the go-to person for coordinating large conferences and assisting delegates.

Sue’s attention to detail and an eye for the aesthetically pleasing are great qualities to have when looking after various customer projects. On weekends, she enjoys foreign films, travelling, and clubbing.
